Delete your LinguaLoop account

You can delete your LinguaLoop account and associated data at any time, either from inside the app or by email.

1. Delete from inside the app (preferred)

1. Open LinguaLoop on your device.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Manage account.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

2. Delete by email (alternative)

• If you can't access the app, send an email to contact@linguatech.app from the email address associated with your LinguaLoop account.
• Subject: "Delete my account".
• We will verify ownership and process the deletion within 30 days.

3. What gets deleted

• User profile (name, email, native language, target level, preferences).
• Learning progress (completed lessons, exercise history, streaks, stats).
• Saved phrases, chat history, and Speaking session transcripts.
• Reminder configuration and notification preferences.

4. What is retained

• Anonymized analytics events used for product improvement (cannot be linked back to the deleted account).
• Billing/transaction records required by tax and consumer protection law in the user's jurisdiction (retained for the legally mandated period, after which they are also deleted).

5. Subscription cancellation

Deleting your account does NOT cancel active subscriptions. You must cancel your subscription separately through Google Play before deleting your account, otherwise you'll continue to be charged.

Open the Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → LinguaLoop → Cancel subscription.
